Blaupunkt Firmware Update

I noticed from the Blaupunkt website that a newer firmware update was available. So I followed the instructions but upon rebooting my satnav the progress bar stuck at about 60%. I returned the unit to Blaupunkt's repairer who said they could not help me and that the unit was not repairable. When I switch it on for normal operation Windows CE loads but then I get a message saying that a.dll file is missing. Pirates of penzance 1994 full. Anybody out there got any ideas?
