Kung Fu Evolution is my idea of the ultimate kung fu mod for mp2. After reading several hours of code from The Real World mp1 mod, i started implenting a similar system into MP2. I first thought it impossible to do as i was told that mp2 was a way more limited engine than mp1. I thought to myself 'that cant be', since mp2 is newer and better graphic wise, so i took on my coding hat and started writing it, and the results were stunning.

Features: 9 new story levels. 16 characters with unique fighting styles. One use katana while another uses a staff, and the rest is kung fu mad men! Bruce lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Neo, Vergil, Wolverine, Wesker and Tao to name a few.

Most of these will have an alternative costume. Or 3:P Deep Kung Fu system by Me but from the idea of Kenneth Yeung and Jonathan 'Maddieman' Hallier. Mix and match some 20-30 individual moves, including Punch strings, quick and jump kicks, combo enders.

Dance around enemies with sidesteps, dodges, blocks, and parries. Advanced kung fu enemies that can block your moves; and use their own variety of offence and defence moves to destroy you. You are about to play the Long Awaited mod: Kung Fu Evolution!

Been working on this for 3 years straight now. And im very satisfied with the final product! It's not The Real World for mp1 as MP2 engine limits alot in comparrison. However i have the graphical edge and 14 unique characters. How to install: Put ALL files into your Max Payne 2 install folder. Make sure to have set developer mode on. Right click on the MaxPayne2 shortcut on your desktop and add: -developer -developerkeys -screenshot after maxpayne2.exe' ( Eg, 'D: Spil RockstarGames Max Payne 2 MaxPayne2.exe' -developer -developerkeys -screenshot ) Steam version: Goto your games library and right click on max payne 2.

Select properties. Select SetLaunchOptions and add -developer -developerkeys -screenshot This has to be done so you can select alternate skins for some characters by pressing the PG UP og PG DOWN buttons.

I ran into limits of the mp2 engine that stopped me from making the alternate skins selectable from menu. Start Max payne 2 and select Kung Fu Evolution from the drop down box. How to play: Customise your controls! MB1 - Shoot (Standard combos) MB2 - Bullettime Combo (Kicks and harder hitting combos) E - Use (Finishers) F - Bullettime Only (Slowmotion) Is the setup i will recommend people for best controls. Then go to Start Kung Fu Evolution and select Dojo where you'll learn the basics of the Kung fu system! Feel free to report bugs, and ill try my best to fix them and send out patches:) Enjoy the mod! And remember the F10 button for awesome screenshots:D Andersen.

The mod was cool Andersen! It takes some time to get the game working and yes, there are some bugs but overall the game was pretty kickass man! The hidden characters were awesome and the alternate skins of your characters were badass, and your animator Lazer did a really kickass job of animating the charactes especially Virgal's katana moves and I like how you used some old school ninja and samuri movie/novels/comics/manga clichas on his moves, and I have to thank your animator as well:):):) you have a pretty good team man!

But no, if people have problems with your mod you just have to work around it because it was an enjoyable mod dude. Can't wait for V 3.0 dude, or was that just a joke you were telling your fans +1 vote.

' In June this year, Max Payne's slow-motion, shoot-diving, beard-sporting self is making a return to our screens in Max Payne 3. And mighty fine it's looking too, if our are anything to go. But there's one version that's looking especially sweet, and it's not on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. If you really want to experience Max Payne 3 at its ass-kicking finest, it's all about the PC version-if you've got some suitably beefy hardware to support it. The sceptical among you might be thinking the PC version is simply a console port. After all, that's a practice that has become commonplace in modern game development.

But Max Payne 3 on the PC is no mere port, according to Rockstar. It has been developed alongside the console version and sports a number of PC-specific enhancements that make use of everyone's favourite collection of application programming interfaces, DirectX 11.

That's a boon for anyone with a relatively new graphics card, so you can expect lots of tasty tessellation for smoother, more detailed visuals, as well as support for higher resolutions and frame rates than on console. Also promised are full mouse and keyboard support, customisable controls and visual settings, an absence of any load times, and support for Nvidia's 3D Vision technology. The proof is in the pudding, though, and thanks to an extended look at the game running on a GTX 680, we found there's plenty to be excited about. In a level set in a huge stadium, Max and his buddy were on the run from a group of rebel soldiers, each of them pretty pissed off at our hero.

As the pair made their way around the stadium, we got a great look at some of the visual enhancements made to the PC version. The most obvious was the higher resolution of the game. While the console versions look great, on PC the visuals look crisper, rendering the brisk action with a level of detail that made Max's bullet-time shenanigans all the more impressive. The enhanced detail was readily apparent in facial animations too, with Max's monologues being full of furrowed brows and menacing grimaces.

Those moments were further enhanced with bokeh-heavy text that floated and flashed around the screen, forming part of the game's attempt to blend graphic novel elements with in-game action. But the most impressive visuals came during heated firefights. Transitions to Max's bullet-time ability were incredibly smooth, making use of all kinds of neat visual effects like motion blur. The flare from Max's guns was suitably bright and flashy as he laid waste to the many soldiers in his path, picking them off with carefully placed headshots. Stray bullets left puffy trails of smoke behind them, shattering nearby panes of glass and sending stray shards flying around the screen. Also neat were the many empty bullet shells that fell from Max's gun, creating that always satisfying 'clink' sound as they hit the ground.

All that visual loveliness comes at a price, so you'll need a relatively modern graphics card to get in on the action-anything from Nvidia's GTX 400 series or ATI's 5000 series, through to the latest or ATI's HD7970. Rockstar has promised to support users with less sporty hardware too, though you will miss out on some of the DirectX 11-specific enhancements. Max Payne 3 is due for release on June 1 in the EU and May 29 in North America, which should give you just enough time to save for that upgrade.
